Cap d'Ail (Provence Côte d'Azur), September, 2014
🇫🇷 Après un tour de la Provence et des arrières pays de la Côte d'Azur, je suis arrivé à Cap d'Ail une soirée du début septembre, là j'ai trouvé un sac abandonné dans la rue près de la Villa. Après avoir appris le thème de l'exposition (la voie ferrée abandonnée de Cap d'Ail), je l'ai rempli de nombreux ballasts et d'une boulon apportés de la voie déferrée pour ainsi terminer le voyage de l'été. En fait la découverte et l'improvisation sont essentielles à mes travaux in situ.
🇯🇵プロヴァンスとコート・ダジュールの奥の内陸山地を巡った後、9月初旬のある晩、私はキャップ・ダイルに到着した。ヴィラ近くの通りのゴミ箱に旅行鞄が捨てられているのを見つけた。展覧会のテーマが「キャップ・ダイルの廃線路」だと知った私は、その鞄に線路から取ってきたバラストと一本のボルトを入れ、夏の旅を終了させた。実際、発見とその場での即興は私の作品の本質ですらある。
🇺🇸 After a tour of Provence and the hinterland of the Côte d'Azur, I arrived in Cap d'Ail one evening in early September, where I found a bag abandoned in garbage box on the street near the Villa. After learning the theme of the exhibition (abandoned railroad line near there), I filled it with a number of ballasts and a bolt brought from the track to complete the summer's journey. In fact, discovery and improvisation are essential to my work in situ.
